According to your preference, this position will be based within one of our European offices (Belgium, France, Germany or the Netherlands) or in the United Kingdom.

As Area Sales Manager, you will execute the strategy for growth in the Nordic and Baltic territories. You are responsible for the Sales and business planning to meet and exceed your targets and objectives. You will focus on contacting assigned customer accounts and prospecting to sell EVS solutions within the Nordic and Baltic territories. You will deal with a full portfolio of products and solutions that cover all Broadcast and Media Opportunities. With an emphasis on technical selling, you will be responsible for working with Key accounts, Channel Partners, and General Business. It is important to have a strong motivation for the client, team, and personal success. 

Job Description

  • Represent EVS within the Nordic and Baltic territories with a comprehensive understanding of our products and solutions;
  • Drive Sales by leveraging key accounts and channel partners;
  • Generate leads, and build client relationships;
  • Identify and develop opportunities with new accounts to grow revenue outside the existing pipeline;
  • Achieve company objectives through effective planning;
  • Ensure that sales figures meet the stated objectives defined by Regional Management and aim for profitable growth;
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of prospects, including personnel and responsibilities, budgeting, internal politics, products and services, competition, and trends;
  • Take a consultant-style approach to customers to help design and build more efficient and reliable workflows;
  • Work with team members to deliver solutions that meet our customer's needs;
  • Communicate essential product and workflow knowledge to customers to facilitate sales;
  • Create and organize customer quotes and conceptual workflow drawings;
  • Develop, contribute and implement business plans and strategies for the assigned region and accounts;
  • Create regular meeting reports and sales forecast updates with detailed client information;
  • Use the tools and applications (CRM) to help give team leaders full visibility;
  • Attend trade shows, conventions and workshops within the Nordic and Baltic territories.
  • Be professional and punctual;
  • Understand the value of time and where to spend it to be most effective. 


  • 5 - 10 years experience of selling into the Broadcast and Media market;
  • Strong knowledge of the Nordics market.

Technical skills : 

  • Strong Direct Sales and Channel Sales track records in selling complex technical solutions;
  • Experienced at executive level contacts;
  • Strong technical aptitude and work ethic;
  • Strong computer skills including CRM, Visio, and Office 365.

Soft Skills : 

  • Autonomous with a high degree of flexibility;
  • Ability to think ‘outside of the box’ and be creative;
  • Excellent communicator/negotiator with solid presentation skills;
  • Highly motivated and trusted;
  • Willingness to travel within the Nordic and Baltic markets;
  • Personal interest in technology and sports;
  • Good balance between managing existing clients and onboarding new ones;

Languages :

  • Fluent in English and preferably a nordic language;
  • Knowledge in other languages is an asset.
