Scope

Our mission as a Corporate Transformation Team is to sustain EVS activities by monitoring business processes, managing corporate applications, and structuring and managing corporate data.
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic BI & Data coordinator to join the team.
Your role will be to define and implement the data governance, coordinate, and support the community of data owners, data stewards, and report owners. You will also contribute to the definition of the data architecture and follow up on its implementation.

Job description

As a BI & Data coordinator, you will
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders (Data owners, reports owners, and data stewards) to better understand their needs, establish efficient collaboration and ensure that our Data Strategy is fully aligned with business ambitions.
  • Anticipate, understand, and challenge business needs to proactively propose cost-efficient future proof solutions.
  • Define our new data governance, which includes :
    • Define the key roles & responsibilities: Data owner, Data steward, Report owner
    • Set up and coordinate the community of key stakeholders
  • Contribute to the definition and coordinate the continuously improve our data model and architecture in Azure.
  • Ensure that all the relevant technical and functional documentation is up to date.
  • Coordinate the support to the key stakeholders (Data owners, reports owners, data stewards) : define priorities, provide an update, identify training needs, and follow-up on requests.

Profile

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in the field of (Business) Informatics or Business IT & Management or a related field of study
  • At least five years of experience in the field of Data Intelligence, as a functional analyst or engineer with proven experience in (master) data management, enterprise information modeling, logical data modeling, data quality, and/or data governance projects.

Technical skills :

Must have :

  • You will be working with a team of Data Engineers /Data Scientists but it seems important to use that you have the following skills in order to understand, challenge and sometimes support them :
  • Data modeling skills
  • Strong interest in data manipulation (storage, pipeline implementation)
  • SQL
  • Python & Pyspark

Nice to have :

  • Experience with Cloud platforms and Cloud data warehouses
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Data Services is a significant asset (Data Lake, Synapse, Data Warehouse, Data Factory, Databricks, etc.)
  • Overall Microsoft environment - Dynamics 365, BI (SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Power BI), ETL, Power-automate, and Power Apps)
  • Knowledge of 0365, Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, and UML diagrams /BPMN annotations will ease the onboarding

  • Working cross-functionally with various technical and business teams
  • Working in a hybrid environment (Agile/Waterfall)
