•    Under the lead of the (S)VP Sales, the Key Account Manager manages the relationship with Key Accounts from a business perspective. You will execute the strategy for growth within the identified key accounts to retain top clients and nurture those relationships over time. You are responsible for the sales and business planning to meet and exceed your targets and objectives. You will focus on building business plans and coordinating with internal stakeholders to grow our solutions footprint within the given clients' facilities. You will build strategic plans and must juggle many moving parts. The Key Account role is about developing relationships using a systematic approach. By truly understanding their strategy, identifying key decision-makers, and mapping organizational structure, you can align EVS’ solutions roadmaps and go-to-market with the target to identify ways to maximize value for both parties and work on strategic synergies, enabling further Sales. With an emphasis on technical selling, you will deal with a full portfolio of products and solutions that cover all Broadcast and Media Opportunities. It is critical to have a strong motivation for the client, team, and personal success that prioritizes long-term relationships over short-term transactions. 

Job Description

  • Represent EVS with a comprehensive understanding of our products and solutions
  • Achieve company objectives through effective planning, setting sales goals, analyzing performance data, and forecasting future performance
  • Generate Key Account Plans that follow internal Sales Principles
  • Work with channel partners when necessary to unlock new business opportunities
  • Identify and develop new opportunities within Key Accounts
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of prospects, including personnel, responsibilities, budgeting, internal politics, products and services, competition, and market trends
  • Expand Key Accounts EVS’ product mix
  • Communicate essential product and workflow knowledge to customers to facilitate sales
  • Conduct technical product demonstrations and workflow discussions
  • Take a consultant-style approach to customers to help design and build more efficient and reliable workflows
  • Create organized customer quotes and conceptual workflow drawings to develop, contribute, and implement business plans and strategies for assigned accounts
  • Attend trade shows, conventions, and workshops 
  • Consciously use company resources to support a sale concerning operating expenses
  • Create regular meeting reports and sales forecast updates with detailed client information
  • Ensure that sales figures meet the stated objectives defined by Management
  • Work with team members to deliver solutions that meet our customer's needs
  • Use the tools and applications to help give team leaders full visibility
  • Be professional and punctual. Understand the value of time and where to spend it to be most effective


  • 5 - 8 years experience of selling into the Broadcast and Media Space

Technical skills : 

  • Strong track record in selling complex technical solutions
  • Ability to develop both company and client expertise
  • Strong computer skills including CRM, Visio, Office 365
  • Strong technical aptitude and work ethic. 
  • Skilled negotiator and value-based seller
  • Ability to research market trends
  • Performance management and sales planning
  • Motivation for sales and finding new business within Key Accounts
  • Preparing and presenting regular reports to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Developing long-term strategies for client retention and making plans to implement them
