As Lead Software Engineer, you are responsible to allocate resources efficiently, based on business priorities and team members' competences, in order to ensure the coherence of the deliverables regarding the chosen technology, architecture, required quality and planning.
As SERVANT leader, you are accountable for providing guidance and coaching to team members and developing the people's competencies within the team; helping them to consistently deliver working software to the standards the Company expects.

You actively participate to the different development activities: analysis, architecture, design, implementation, testing, validation, technical documentation and maintenance.
Lead a team of 7 Software Engineers
Analyze and review product requirements and product specifications input from the Product Management department, and discuss technical feasibility
Build technical design proposals
Develop new software components or modify existing ones
Participate in peer code reviews
Plan, define and perform unit testing
Create or maintain technical documentations
Integrate individual software components developed by yourself and others members of the development team
Solve defects reported in the defect tracking system
Identify risks and discuss them with the Quality Control department for building adequate test plans
Make work estimates for the tasks assigned to you and to the team
Plan, track and report your work and your assigned tasks to your direct manager
Respect procedures related to the software development lifecycle process (Source Control Management, Defect Tracking, Coding Rules, Continuous Integration)
Identify and propose process improvements
Master degree or equivalent through experience (in Computer Sciences)
Team lead experience, especially in software development (C++…)
Experience with Agile Methodology (SCRUM)
Project Management: develop projects plans, coordinate projects, etc.
Delegation: delegate work assignments, match the responsibility to the person, give authority to work independently, set expectations and monitor delegated activities, etc.
Managing People: provide regular performance feedback, take responsibility for subordinates' activities, develop subordinates' skills and encourage growth, etc.
Quality Management: look for ways to improve and promote quality, demonstrate accuracy, etc.
Fluent in English. Knowledge of French is a plus.
