Scope

EVS is currently searching for an experienced Product Manager (PM) to join our Product and Solutions team, part of the Marketing & Solutions department, to play a crucial role in the planning and managing of several EVS products as part of a solutions family. The ideal candidate will have a sharp, analytical, pragmatic mind, emotional intelligence and stunning communication skills that allows her/him to effectively navigate transversally throughout the organization, notably between R&D and commercial teams.
As a product manager, you will build externally and internally the product vision and define the functional design for the assigned products, prioritizing efforts based on a well-established multi-dimensional valuation criterion. In addition, the Product Manager owns the evolution of the products throughout the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and is responsible for developing the unified roadmap, gathering ideas, trends and customer requirements, and translating those into portfolio epics and features. Furthermore, she/he will work closely with R&D through the Product Owner to deliver the committed features efficiently, collaborating actively in the Program Increment (PI) and product backlog planning activities.
The PM will also work closely with Operations & Project to embed the related products into the support framework and SLA. Finally, he will work with the Solution-Product Marketing Manager to develop product marketing strategies and business plans, define GTM, design pricing, and evaluate promotional plans. In addition, the Product Manager is customer-facing and may visit customers to gather feedback from customers about the products under his responsibility.

Job description

As a Product Manager, you will hold a high impact role in the success of the products assigned to you. Your main partner in your day-to-day tasks will be the Solution-Product Marketing Managers. Your tasks include :
  • Define Product Strategy, Product Positioning and Unified Roadmap
  • Participate actively in the Scaled Agile Framework Processes and Gates, including Solutions Unit meetings, PLM process, P&S Board and PI planning activities as required
  • Prepare PRDs with well defined features that correspond to client and market needs
  • Participation on Lean Portofolio Management meetings during which allocation of budget to value stream happens and guardrails are defined
  • Define key messaging and collaborate with the Marcom team
  • Complete feature valuation following multi-dimensional established criteria
  • Be an embassador of your products, performing product demos to customers when required
  • Introduce fresh business models based on OPEX such as SaaS Subscription, Pay-you-Go, Flexible Licensing or advanced SLA formulas
  • Work side by side with Product Owners, Engineering and R&D teams as required
  • Work side by side with Solution-Product Marketing Manager and Pricing Manager to develop and update pricing models
  • Brief and train the sales force at quarterly sales meetings or other meetings
  • Meet Order Intake, Revenue and Profitability levels

Profile 

  • Master degree in Computer Sciences, Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent superior studies with previous experience in Product Management or Product Marketing
  • SAFe Agile Scale Certification Preparred
  • At least 7 years of experience in the Telco, Media, Broadcast, Tech area in a relevant Product Manager, Product Marketing Manager, Program Manager or Pre-Sales Manager Role
  • Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
  • Able to work with multiple stakeholders and senior management of various departments
  • Experience in an international environment is an asset
Languages:
  • Full working proficiency in English and in French
  • Other European languages are an asset
