Scope

Manage the delivery of customer broadcast systems in line with requirements, business needs and conform to EVS project management standards and processes.

Job Description

As a Project Manager, you will have a customer-facing position in an international environment.
Your tasks include :
  • Assist during the pre-sale phase
  • Define the scope and objectives
  • Budgetary estimations and follow up
  • Define and monitor project plan timeframes
  • Liaise and connect with relevant project stakeholders: customers, providers, subcontractors, third parties, and internal colleagues
  • Clear and comprehensive reporting to the key stakeholders on time
  • Define project purchasing needs and work with EVS Procurement department
  • Organize and actively participate in development, validation, installation, and acceptance of the customer solution on factory and at customer site
  • Provide expertise and/or onsite support to the client during the implementation phase: testing, advice, consultation, workflow follow-up…
  • Ensure the go-live as well as the right operational readiness level
  • Coordinate activities during the start-up phase and organize hand-over to support the organization

Profile

  • Diploma: Master degree in Computer Sciences or Engineering
  • Languages: Full working proficiency in English. French and/or other language is an asset.
  • Prerequisites:
    • Available for traveling worldwide. On specific occasions (Olympic Games, World Cup, ...) duration could be up to 2-3 months
    • Technology minded. Strong IT knowledge (Networking, Broadcast standards, Cloud computing, ...)
  • Certifications: PM Practice such as PMP or Prince is an asset, other certifications such as ITIL are also an asset
  • Experience: at least 3 years of experience in the Broadcast area or in Project Management, experience in positions of service support delivery is an asset.
    • Experience in an international environment is an asset.
    • Proven experience in technology deployment or technology projects is a plus.
  • Soft skills:
    • Organized, achieve high-quality deliveries, result-oriented
    • Team player, willing to share with peers
    • Context switching, able to manage multiple projects in parallel
    • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
    • High-stress resistance; do not give up in crisis situations; do not lose control under pressure
    • Customer Management experience is a plus.
