As a member of the R&D Solution QC team, the QC Lead Engineer will work on EVS key Solutions (MediaInfra,…).
You will drive the Solution QC Team in charge of validating E2E Solution workflows involving several EVS Products and/or 3rd party Products. You will collaborate with R&D Programs QC Coordinators (PQC) and the Project QC Lead to make sure that QC responsibilities are properly balanced and defined between the Products, the Projects, and the global solution in order to avoid gaps and overlaps.

Job Description

In the Solution QC team, the QC Lead Engineer will act as “Product Owner” to organize, drive, and prioritize the activities of the team :
  • Identify with the Solution Manager, the Program’s PAL, CPO and PQC, and other relevant stakeholders the required Solutions to be validated by the Solution QC Team
  • Plan, organize the work of the Agile Solution QC Team: responsible for backlog creation, decompose/estimate team tasks, ensure the delivery of user stories and bugs corrections
  • Identify the workflows to be validated by the Solution QC Team. This shall cover functional (features tests) and non-functional cases (deployment, stability/load/stress, scalability, security)
  • Define with the Solution Managers and with the support of the QC Engineers the test strategy for the identified workflows
  • Build an adequate test plan based on risk assessment and time constraints
  • Review the definition of the test cases (functional / non-functional)
  • Support test cases execution (manual and/or automated)
  • Perform a first level analysis of potential issues / defects
  • Report defects to the System / Dev teams across multiple Programs and/or 3rd party
  • Review the bug priorities with relevant stakeholders (e.g.: CPO)
  • Accountable for the Solution test reports
  • Steer and motivate the team to deliver committed scope
  • Follow up and track Solution QC Team progress
  • Manage the stakeholders and make tough decisions
  • Demonstrate with support of the Team functional and non-functional Solution features
  • Collaborate with the People Managers of the Solution QC Engineers (shall be mainly the Program’s PQC)


Technical Skills :

  • Knowledge of one or several EVS Products (mainly in, Neuron, Cerebrum) and networking / switches is an asset
  • Experience in product / functional/non-functional testing
  • Able to manage and set expectations with stakeholders, displays strong negotiation skills
  • Experience in planning/coordination of a team
  • Understanding of workflow schemes (hardware and software components, data flows,..) and translate them into test scenarios

  • Experience in test automation
  • ISTQB certification 
  • For the QC automation, knowledge of a programming language (Java, Javascript, Python, C#) and test automation frameworks (pytest, ...) 

Languages :

  • Fluent in English
  • Knowledge in other languages is an asset
