As Area Sales Manager, you will execute the strategy for growth in the defined regional territory. You are responsible for the Sales and business planning to meet and exceed your targets and objectives. You will focus on contacting assigned customer accounts and prospecting to sell EVS solutions within a designated geographical territory. You will deal with a full portfolio of products and solutions that cover all Broadcast and Media Opportunities. With an emphasis on technical selling, you will be responsible for working with Key accounts, Channel Partners, and General Business. It is important to have a strong motivation for the client, team, and personal success.

Job Description

  • Represent EVS with a comprehensive understanding of our products and solutions
  • Achieve company objectives through effective planning, setting sales goals, analyzing performance data, and forecasting future performance
  • Generate leads, and build client relationships
  • Drive Sales within the Television and Media Space by leveraging key accounts and channel partners
  • Manage existing customer base in the territory
  • Identify and develop new accounts to grow revenue outside the existing pipeline
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of prospects, including personnel, responsibilities, budgeting, internal politics, products and services, competition, and market trends
  • Expand the current customer base in all market segments
  • Communicate essential product and workflow knowledge to customers to facilitate sales
  • Conduct technical product demonstrations and workflow discussions
  • Take a consultant-style approach to customers to help design and build more efficient and reliable workflows
  • Create organized customer quotes and conceptual workflow drawings work to develop, contribute and implement business plans and strategies for assigned regions and accounts
  • Attend trade shows, conventions, and workshops within the territory
  • Consciously use company resources to support a sale concerning operating expenses
  • Create regular meeting reports and sales forecast updates with detailed client information
  • Ensure that sales figures meet the stated objectives defined by Regional Management
  • Work with team members to deliver solutions that meet our customer's needs
  • Use the tools and applications to help give team leaders full visibility
  • Be professional and punctual. Understand the value of time and where to spend it to be most effective


  • 5 - 8 years experience of selling into the Broadcast and Media Space

Technical skills : 

  • Strong Direct Sales and Channel Sales track records in selling complex technical solutions
  • Experienced at executive level contacts
  • Strong technical aptitude and work ethic
  • Strong computer skills including CRM, Visio, Office 365

Soft Skills : 

  • Autonomous with a high degree of flexibility
  • Ability to think ‘outside of the box’ and be creative
  • Excellent communicator/negotiator with solid presentation skills
  • Highly motivated and trusted
  • Willingness to travel within the national market
  • Personal interest in technology and sports
  • Good balance between managing current clients and onboarding new ones

Languages :

  • Fluent in English
  • Knowledge of French is an asset
