Scope

The software engineer will work in a solution/integration test environment. He/She will work closely with the solution manager/R&D. The QC Engineer will validate
solution workflow from a functional/non-functional point of view.

Job description

In the project/solution test team, the Software Engineer has to validate a full workflow from an end-to-end perspective.
The software engineer in the project/solution test team has to:

  • Define with the solution manager/QC Manager the worst scenario in terms
  • Define load test with QC manager
  • Create/maintain several tools to execute load test
  • Create/maintain several tools for the daily life for the project/solution team (setup maintenance, execute scripts remotely, test tools)
  • Check with other teams if the same load test scenario doesn't exist already. Ensure we are using one single tool across the company for load test
  • Help for setup configuration
  • Send load test report to his manager

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical Computer Science
  • Experience of 5 years in automation testing
  • IT-oriented (basic knowledge about network, switch,…)
  • You can read and understand workflow schemas (indicating hardware and software components, data flows, ..) and translate them into automation test case workflows
  • Knowledge about broadcast workflow is a plus
  • Knowledge of C#, Java, cypress & selenium
  • ISTQB certification is an asset
  • You can work autonomously, take responsibility for a test project, you are organized, you collect actively the required info, you ask for help if needed
