We are looking to expand our R&D team in Gilze, the Netherlands. The team consists of approximately 30 employees with all kinds of skills, hardware-, software- and FPGA developers and system tests and you will be part of it. The R&D team in Gilze is responsible for the development and maintenance of the product lines Synapse and Neuron.
The Neuron platform is our new state-of-the-art high-speed processing board with 100Gb interfaces, 2 FPGA’s, and a dual-core ARM running Linux used as basis for all our Neuron audio and video processing products, like the convert, protect, compress, bridge but also for audio shuffler and the new multiviewer.
The development processes are based on SAFe, work in an agile team, use the latest technologies, and our build and test systems are fully automated.

Job Description

  • Deploying, automating, maintaining, and managing CI/CD pipelines
  • Manage and maintain the infrastructure, keep it up-to-date, safe and make sure to provide a high level of availability and performance
  • Manage and maintain the build clusters in the cloud and on-premises
  • Manage and maintain the R&D IP network infrastructure
  • Leading in the approach to technical aspects regarding infrastructure
  • Work with the development team to deploy and manage tools that support development automation, configuration- and release management
  • Actively research the latest technologies, keeping up with the latest trends in DevOps
  • Influence and strengthen agile development culture
  • Automate and write code


  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical Computer Science with experience in DevOps

Experiences :

  • Experience working in embedded system development environments
  • Experience working in an agile environment such as SAFe, Scrum, and Kaban
  • Experience with modern build automation environments such as Gitlab Jenkins, etc.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies and tools such as VMware, Docker, etc.
  • Experience in programming and scripting languages such as Python, C++, bash
  • Experience with container-orchestration systems, eg. Kubernetes
  • Experience with repository management tools, eg. Artifactory
  • Experience with IT automation deployment platforms, eg Ansible/AWS

Technical skills

  • Knowledge of IP networks
  • Methodical in your approach using content- and issue management tools, eg: Jira and Confluence
  • Good understanding of Linux and Windows in development environments
