Solutions Manager

Scope

EVS is seeking an experienced individual to join our Product and Solutions Team as Solutions Manager to drive the success of our products across all of our existing market segments. 

We pride ourselves on “customer intimacy” so as Solutions Manager, you will be expected to conduct market research in the form of customer visits and industry outreach and anticipate the needs of the industry well ahead of our customers and competition. As a member of the Product and Solutions team, you will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of technical solutions by working closely with sales, engineering, and product owners to develop solutions that meet both current and future client needs, drive revenue growth, and exceed customer expectations.

Job Description

• Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy, including market research, win/loss and competitive analysis.
• Ability to contribute to the company vision and drive the resulting roadmap
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and sales, to bring products to market.
• Lead the product development process, from ideation to launch and post-launch analysis.
• Define and communicate product requirements and specs to development teams.
• Drive product positioning, pricing, and define go-to-market strategies.
• Familiarity with P&L, Business Plan, and basic financial techniques of measuring product financial performances.
• Understanding and experience in pricing management, including both CAPEX and OPEX pricing models.
• Conduct regular market analysis and adjust product strategies accordingly.
• Partner with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute product launches and campaigns.
• Guide Sales, Solutions Architects and Channel Partners on selling strategies.
• Ensure that all product launch and marketing materials are accurate and effective.
• Participate actively in the Scaled Agile Framework Processes, including Solutions Unit meetings, PLM process, P&S Board and PI planning activities 
• Provide regular reports & presentations to EVS senior management on the technical and financial performance of our solutions and the overall effectiveness of the solution operations.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience in Broadcast, Media, Telco or other related field

Technical skills :

• Experience with creative tools are a plus
• Product management experience.
• Strong understanding of product development and go-to-market strategies.
• Experience with product marketing and sales outreach.
• Excellent leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Soft skills :

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable developing business cases and enacting pricing strategies for new and existing products
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, you will lead a direct team and influence indirect reports.
• Organized, focused and capable of delivering high-quality results
• Proven ability to perceive customer needs and market trends.
• Creative thinker, able to see the big picture and imagine new ways of solving old problems.
• High tolerance for stressful situations.
• Team player, willing to mentor and share with peers.
• Willing to travel worldwide regularly.

Languages : 

• Fluent in English
• Knowledge of French or other languages is an asset
