Scope

Ensure a perfect transmission of knowledge to the various external and internal customers in order to develop their skills and provide them with the tools to master and use EVS products optimally and guarantee this way a high customer satisfaction.
Participate in the different steps of customers' and EVS members’ educational process.
Organize operational and technical training and develop associated tools such as training manuals, tutorials, e-learning modules.
Ensure operations, maintenance, and improvements to training tools such as training room infrastructure, training simulators, (remote) demo kits, etc….

Job Description

  • The trainers are responsible for the definition of training standards, courses, and programs for the different target groups (Broadcasters, Freelancers, Partners, EVS Staff). They also create in line with this all needed training tools (training manuals, tutorials, E-learning modules) with training resources or external resources.
  • They conduct product-related training courses that can be organized either in EVS offices or directly at customer facilities.
  • And contribute to the implementation of new learning strategies and tools: E-learning, Webinars, Learning Management System.
  • They can also participate in demo activities in the context of tradeshows and/or demos organized in EVS offices.
  • They are responsible for the maintenance of training rooms and related teaching tools to offer the best training and demo conditions to the trainees. Therefore they also are responsible for the follow-up on products, solutions, and technological evolutions to ensure that the equipment is in line with the training standards defined. This responsibility can be extended to different training and demo tools such as mobile training simulators, (remote) demo kits, demo trucks, recording studios, etc….

Profile

  •  A diploma in broadcast/audiovisual technologies or equivalent
Experiences :
  • Some years of experience in the broadcast industry
  • Some previous knowledge of EVS products would be a plus
  • Already some teaching experience would be ideal
Soft Skills :
  • Good communication skills - eager in sharing knowledge and experience
  • Capacity to create/write structured documents
  • Open-minded: open to new experiences and projects, can adapt easily to changing environments and is driven/motivated by the changes
  • Can work in a team but also autonomously (search information, develop deliverables in time and line with the objectives)
  • Good analytical thinking and capable of decomposing complex concepts into smaller understandable ones

Languages : 
  • Fluent in English or French
