Importing Media

Note Before importing an A/V file, you should make sure that the codec and wrapper of the file are supported and that the frame rate and resolution of the file are the same as that of your server. |
1. | Click or tap the + button in the top right corner of the Library: |
A bar will appear displaying the icons of the types of media you can either import or create.
To hide the bar again, click X.
2. | Click the Clip icon. |
A file explorer window will appear.
3. | Browse for the A/V file you want to import. |
4. | Select the file and click Open. |
Note You can only import one A/V file at a time. |
A new Clip item appears in the Library. The import of the A/V file is started. You can monitor the progress of the import.
The imported clip will be created with 4 audio tracks. If the original media contained less than 4 audio tracks, silent tracks will replace any missing tracks. If the original A/V file contains more than 4 audio tracks, only the first four tracks will be imported.
To stop the import, click X.

3. | Browse for the folder containing the transition. |
4. | Select the folder and click Open. |

A new Transition item appears in the Library. The import of the A/V file is started. You can monitor the progress of the import.
To stop the import, click X.
Import Statuses
A Library item can have one of the following import statuses:
