Software Engineer in Test Automation (Belgium, Liège)


Responsible for developing and executing comprehensive suites of automation test plans and test cases, maintaining and adding to existing automation framework, continued evaluation for test cases for inclusion in regression, automation for newly integrated features, and development of toolsets to augment QA and Development testing.

Job Description

  • Analyze test scenarios and build an adequate plan for automating the quality control
  • Design and develop tools and test automation scripts
  • Document automated test plans, test scenarios and test scripts
  • Execute automated test scenarios based on documented test cases
  • Report test results and quality risks
  • Report product defects in a clear unambiguous way
  • Assure the follow up of the product defects workflow and verify the product defect solutions
  • Give structured feedback about product usability (validation tests)
  • Participate in the manual test process (building and executing test cases)
  • Make work estimates for the tasks assigned
  • Plan, track and report daily work and assigned tasks, to your direct team manager
  • Participate in selecting, implementing and maintaining third party test automation tools
  • Identify and propose process improvements


  • Engineer, Master or Bachelor degree in Computer Science
  • Experience of Object-Oriented Design and Programming in Multithreaded Environment
  • Working experience in C# and in Database Concept
  • Interested in broadcast solutions

  • Excellent analytical skills
