Pre-Sales Manager (USA, Fairfield)

Scope

• Closely collaborates with Sales & Operations teams
• Builds best in class EVS value propositions that meet customers’ needs
• Makes sure the proposed value propositions are deeply supported by customers’ technical decision-makers
• Transfers industry, technical and product knowledge to customers via good written, verbal and presentation skills
 

Job Description

• Manage pre-sales tasks in coordination with the Sales team: draft system design and BOM’s/quotations, give technical support to complete Sales proposals
• Master the internal sales tools (CRM, AX) to aid the Sales team by namely building BOMs and quotations inside those tools
• Formulate and design/respond to tender requests
• Manages hand-over to the Project & Support teams for live project implementation
• Accompany sales manager in meetings and give technical sales pitch
• Organize demonstrations of products on customers’ premises
• Elaborate solutions meeting customers’ requirements and needs
• Anticipate and plan project phases
• Work with Project and Test teams to develop proper testing protocols for any upgrades or implementations prior-to rollout to the production system
• Ensure respect of deadlines
• Ensure follow-up of potential internal development of new products/features needed for given sales opportunity with the Product Managers' help
• Support at external and internal customer facing events
• Keep abreast of EVS product portfolio, new technology, market trends, business opportunities
• Give internal feedback on competitive gaps
• Give constructive positive and negative Product feedback
 

Profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the broadcast industry as Pre Sales
• University graduate in Broadcast or Engineering
• Strong broadcast and IT skills (AV, OS, network...)
• Autonomous, able to plan and work on his own, pro-active and able to take initiatives
• Be able to meet very tight deadlines
• Able to manage him/her self under pressure
• Good communicator, at ease with clients, team player
• Flexible and willing to travel
• English mandatory; French and/or Spanish is an advantage
