Market Research Analyst (USA, New Jersey)
EVS is looking for a new role to join our newly established Markets team. As Market Research Analyst, your role would be in gathering information and reporting about different vertical markets and the global Broadcast, Media and adjacent industries. The market analyst is supporting the vertical market leaders in the analysis, the projections and reporting of the respective vertical market perspectives.
The role of Market Research Analyst at EVS is responsible for taking the insights of the 'we think' categories and to establish a 'we know' conclusion and deliver actionable insights about vertical markets, competitors and the business cases that we form to grow our business. EVS has secured a 90% market share in our original core B2B market, and the market research analyst role would help to pursue other market verticals in which EVS would build our next generation of success. This role would collaborate in a global team which provides insights to other related departments in direction and the areas in which successful growth can be identified. Reporting to the SVP Markets, the role would work in a small team for execution of actions.
Analysts help determine a company’s position in the marketplace by researching their competitors and analyzing their prices, sales, and marketing methods. Using this information, they may determine potential markets, product demand, and pricing. Their knowledge of the targeted consumer enables them to develop advertising brochures and commercials, sales plans, and product promotions.
The role would be expected to evaluate data using statistical techniques and software. The person would interpret what the data means for EVS, and they may forecast future trends. The role would be expected to produce charts, graphs, and other visual aids to present the results of their research towards colleagues as well as executive members.
