Broadcast Asia 2018

EVS brings its latest modular production tools to BroadcastasiA2018

BroadcastAsia is the region’s largest event for the pro-audio, film, digital media and broadcasting industries. At the 2018 show, EVS will be presenting several technologies on stand number 4S4-10 including its newsroom solutions, Xeebra, X-ONE, DYVI and the newest XT server – the XT-VIA.

Visitors to EVS’ stand will see demonstrations of the company’s newsroom solutions that are perfectly suited to the fast-paced news production environment. From multi-source ingest, fast playback operations and turnaround editing through to delivery to multiple platforms, these solutions provide the speed and reliability needed for real-time coverage of breaking news.

EVS will also demonstrate XT-VIA, the most significant update to its XT series of servers yet. It enables six channels of UHD-4K and 12 Channels of Full HD, letting facility providers and content creators benefit from increased channel density and native IP support of SMPTE 2110 to power super motion replays in IP connected environments.

The Xeebra multi-camera review system will also be on display, including its integrated AI that allows users to easily overlay graphics onto live camera feeds, like an offside line when the system’s deployed as a VAR in soccer.

EVS will showcase X-ONE, the all-in-one live production system that’s ideal for niche sports. It lets a single operator cut an entire program using six live camera feeds and control audio, create replays and overlay graphics. DYVI will also be at the show, demonstrating how a truly software-defined switcher can provide faster, more efficient live workflows through easily-customizable panel configurations.

These solutions are all built on EVS’ new VIA technology platform – a suite of modular microservices and workflow engines that will become the foundation of all the company’s products.

Also, being demonstrated on the showfloor is EVS’ partnership with Aspera, whose stand (4P2-01) will see a demonstration of how its technology, combined with EVS’ C-Next contribution solution, creates seamless workflows for full live production collaboration between remote sites.

BroadcastAsia2018 is a part of the ConnectTechAsia exhibitions and takes place at the Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre between 26 - 28 June 2018. For more information on the products being shown on EVS stand 4S4-10, head to EVS.com.
