EVS cancels its participation to the NABShow 2020
Liège, Belgium, March 11, 2020
Due to the uncertainty surrounding the outbreak of COVID-19, EVS has announced its tough decision to withdraw from the NAB Las Vegas Show 2020 that is planned to take place from April 18th to 22nd. With the impact of the coronavirus being felt worldwide, this decision comes as a precautionary measure to mitigate the health and safety risk for everyone involved.
Serge Van Herck, CEO at EVS said: “NAB is a key milestone for us every year. We take pride in showcasing our new solutions there and meeting up with our customers, partners and prospects, so it has been a very tough decision to make. While we are now seeing some positive signals coming from Asia, it is clear that the situation in other parts of the world is not yet fully under control. I strongly believe we must stay on the safe side during these uncertain times. As always, our primary responsibility is the health of our teams, business partners and of our respective family members.”
Despite cancelling its physical attendance, EVS is currently working on an alternative plan to introduce its new products and solutions and to remain engaged with the NAB community. More information on this plan will be communicated soon.
