EVS Tapeless Technology is the Preferred Choice for US Stadiums
EVS continued to expand its presence in North American stadiums in 2009, as major facilities upgraded their playout abilities with EVS hardware and software solutions. In total more than 12 XT servers have been purchased for live playout operations in stadiums throughout the US and Canada. Such venues require a high level of efficiency and reliability, which explains why so many facilities have opted for EVS XT servers.
To date the following venues have added EVS equipment to their operations:
- Carolina Hurricanes
- Dallas Cowboys
- Edward Jones Dome
- Georgia Dome
- Miami Heat
- Minnesota Twins
- Minnesota Wild
- Oklahoma City Thunder
- Washington Redskins
Each season more stadiums are choosing to include EVS servers and its associated controllers, MulticamLSM and IPDirector, for live slow motion replays, highlights editing and graphics playout operations.
“We offer stadiums the ability to enhance the experience of going out to a ball game” stated Fred Garroy, General Manager of EVS Americas. “Today’s stadiums want to give fans all of the benefits of watching a game on TV – instant replays, graphics and highlights packages – plus all of the excitement and thrill of being in a stadium.”
