EVS received the coveted Corporate HR Award at the HR Excellence gala ceremony in Genval, Belgium
EVS, the leading provider of live video technology for broadcast and new media productions, has taken home the coveted Corporate HR Award 2019 in the organizational effectiveness category. The winners were revealed in presence of over 700 HR decision-makers and professionals on 14 November 2019 during the combined gala ceremony for the prestigious Corporate HR Awards and the HR Excellence Awards in Genval (Belgium).
The Corporate HR Awards annually shine the light on companies that demonstrate excellence and tangible achievements in people-centric initiatives. Key elements that are assessed include making the people case for change, technology adoption and implementation, adaptation of the HR operating model, change management, and measurement.
The award was attributed to EVS for its Change Management program based on Agile methodology to adapt faster to the changing and volatile broadcast industry. Initiated in 2016, the project has since delivered many positive outcomes including a better focus on the human aspect through reinforced links between HR and business.
Judges were impressed with “the outstanding performance, achievements and sustained commitment of EVS’ HR department and the whole management team as well in securing, engaging and strengthening the agility and transformational culture of the organization.”
EVS’ HR Director, Pierre Matelart said:”More than an Agile implementation, it’s a cultural transformation that has taken place over the past few years. It is an honor to receive such a prestigious award, which is a celebration of the shared vision among our team members, and our dedication and commitment to put the human back at the heart of EVS.”
The Corporate HR Awards are intended for companies from across private and public sectors, having either their headquarter or a subsidiary in Belgium. The awards are organized and processed upon a strict and transparent process, clearly defined criteria, and upon the control of a 100% neutral and objective Jury. All judges are carefully chosen for their knowledge and experience in human capital management, business governance and/or organizational effectiveness.
