Sportel Monaco


EVS will bring its industry-leading live production technology to Sportel Monaco, which takes place between October 23-26 at the Principality’s Grimaldi Forum. Visitors to booth B03-04 will discover how EVS solutions are used every day by professional sports broadcasters, rights owners and teams around the world to better engage with fans. Its new Connected Live ecosystem and Creative Live toolsets enable sports producers to deliver a truly immersive experience.

The latest EVS tools that will be showcased at Sportel Monaco enable users to create:

Live replays like fans have never seen

Live storytelling can now be enhanced with sensor data, such as the speed and power of movements or the heartbeat of an athlete. Visitors to the EVS booth will be able to witness how this type of data, deployed with animated graphics, creates spectacular live replays and enables deeper analysis and a more immersive experience for viewers.  

360-degree motion replays

Already deployed at some of the biggest live sporting events – including the Super Bowl and NASCAR’s Daytona 500 – EVS will demonstrate how viewers can be pulled inside the field of play like never before. EVS’ 360-degree motion replay system gives operators spatial and temporal control of 360-degree camera feeds to create unprecedented slow-motion replays that immerse fans in the action like never before.

Live productions with a single operator

X-ONE is EVS’ powerful new all-in-one production system that puts all of the capabilities of a control room in the hands of a single production operator. The award-winning solution brings EVS’ signature speed and reliability to small and mid-sized productions, where producers up until now have been challenged to find the right creative production toolset that meets their needs for professional technology at a lower budget. This opens the door for federations representing less mainstream sports to easily increase production values and enhance how the sport is presented to fans.

Nicolas Bourdon, EVS’ SVP of Marketing, will also speak at the event’s Sportel Law Conference. He is a panelist on the Data related to Sports Fans session, which takes place at 15.30 on Wednesday October 25 and looks at how data can be used to enhance the viewers’ experience. Nicolas will be joined on the expert panel by Eurosport’s Vicky Adalbert, Tom Bullock from ATP Media and Ruth Hoy of DLA Piper.
