EVS also offer many training opportunities to continue learning and evolving as they move forward in their career. It allows our team members to develop themselves, whether in terms of technical expertise or human and social skills (hard skills or soft skills). We are a “Learning Organization” with a strong feedback culture. Whether it’s attending training sessions organized internally or delivered by external guests, conferences, industry trade shows, or language courses, there are many possibilities for personal and professional growth. Every office has its own programs. There is a catalog, but it is not exhaustive, with internal training courses but also some that are conducted by external trainers. We also have a coaching process conduct by team member or team leader. They get the responsibility to coach new employees, and this is a good way to evolve into management positions.

Our ‘Individual Continuous Improvement Process’ provides a framework that will help you reach your full potential. As part of this process, an individual improvement conversation is held between you and your manager every year to evaluate your personal contribution to EVS linked to your objectives, your know-how and your interpersonal skills and to discuss ways to improve your skills.

EVS’ long-term commitment to the environment, its team members and the community in which it operates has always been an integral part of our culture. We practice and demonstrate this commitment through practical and engaging initiatives that make an impact.

The environment

EVS is mindful of its impact on the environment. Over the years, many decisions have been taken in order to honor this commitment. Built in 2015, our headquarters building in Liège uses energy-saving methods, such as “free cooling”, low-energy lighting, thermally activated systems, photovoltaic panels etc. Our HQ is also home to a new colony of honeybees, to help reverse their decline and to support our local ecosystem. 

Community activism

EVS reinforces its local anchorage by building partnerships with local suppliers and taking an active role in the development of a network between companies. Through a unique sponsorship program, EVS actively supports more than 80 social or cultural projects per year with targeted initiatives in sport, technology, education and diversity. 

Our commitment to social responsibility also includes the participation of our Team Members in some initiatives and activities to help the community. Therefore, we offer to all of them the opportunity to take one day off per year to help a recognized non-profit association of their choice.
