Scope

As SVP Customer Advisory Services, you will act as a senior strategic advisor to EVS customers, supporting executive stakeholders in navigating technology transitions, operational transformation, and long-term infrastructure strategy within the media industry.

You will engage customers at the earliest stages of their decision journey, helping them define priorities, explore future operating models, and shape long-term investment roadmaps.

Operating as a trusted advisor, you will translate industry trends and technological developments into strategic insights that drive business outcomes and strengthen EVS’s position as a long-term partner.

This role reports to the Global SVP Strategy & Business Development and works in close collaboration with Sales, Account Management, Solution Architects, Marketing & Solutions, Customer Experience & Technology, and the CTO organization.

Job Description

Executive Advisory & Strategic Engagement

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders in broadcast and media organizations
  • Lead strategic discussions on infrastructure evolution, transformation, cloud, automation, and long-term investments
  • Help customers frame challenges and define transformation strategies 

Early Customer Engagement

  • Engage customers early in their decision journey, before formal opportunities exist
  • Support definition of priorities, transformation scenarios, and long-term roadmaps 
  • Influence future RFPs and investment decisions through early advisory 

Strategic Account Collaboration

  • Partner with Account and Key Account Managers on long-term engagement strategies
  • Contribute to executive briefings, workshops, and account planning
  • Position EVS as a strategic transformation partner 

Advisory-to-Execution Transition

  • Align with Sales and Solution Architects to convert advisory engagements into opportunities
  • Ensure clear understanding of customer priorities and strategic direction 

GSU Collaboration & Market Feedback

  • Contribute to Global Solution Units through market insights and customer feedback
  • Support evolution of solution roadmaps and business models 

Strategic Alignment & Thought Leadership

  • Participate in strategic discussions with leadership on complex customer needs
  • Represent EVS in industry events and thought leadership initiatives
  • Share insights on market trends, customer priorities, and competitive landscape

Profile

  • Significant experience in broadcast, media technology, or related industries
  • Proven track record engaging with senior executive stakeholders
  • Experience in technology strategy, transformation programs, or complex infrastructures
  • Strong understanding of industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Solid understanding of media production ecosystems and broadcast workflows
  • Ability to connect domain expertise with EVS’s broader solution portfolio
  • Capacity to operate across multiple domains while maintaining strategic perspective
