Course objectives

This course equips support and system engineers with a comprehensive understanding of the MOVE I/O Baseband ingest and playout. Participants will explore the software architecture, installation overview and setup procedures, workflow configuration, key operational features, and best practices for escalating incidents to EVS.
Certain workflows such as File Base Ingest and Transcode, IP2110 ingest, and Avid-integrated workflows depend on external systems that are not available in the virtual lab training environment. These workflows will therefore be explained and demonstrated conceptually rather than through hands-on configuration.
The training is based on MOVE I/O solution and incorporates various practical exercises to reinforce learning and build confidence.

By the end of this course, Support Engineers will be able to:

  • Perform server rack mounting and SDI cabling
  • Understand and manage MOVE I/O media flows and features
  • Configure and operate core MOVE I/O functionalities
  • Best practices for escalating incidents to EVS

Assessment criteria

All participants will get access to an optional online assessment to measure their knowledge at the end of the training session. A score of 70% or higher is required to pass.
