Course objectives

This course equips support engineers with a comprehensive understanding of the MOVE UP File-based ingest and transcoding EVS product range. Participants will explore the software architecture, installation overview and setup procedures, workflow configuration, key operational features, and best practices for escalating incidents to EVS.
Certain workflows such as ENG card ingest, and Avid-integrated workflows depend on external systems that are not available in the virtual lab training environment. These workflows will therefore be explained and demonstrated conceptually rather than through hands-on configuration.
The training is based on MOVE UP and incorporates various practical exercises to reinforce learning and build confidence.

By the end of this course, Support Engineers will be able to:

  • Perform server rack mounting
  • Understand MOVE UP media workflows and features. EVS is responsible for end-to-end configuration
  • Configure and operate core MOVE UP functionalities
  • Best practices for escalating incidents to EVS

Assessment criteria

All participants will get access to an optional online assessment to measure their knowledge at the end of the training session. A score of 70% or higher is required to pass.
