Course objectives

The course aims to give a detailed description of the Neuron platform and its different products that can be integrated in the customer's infrastructure. It will also provide all information needed to enable the engineer to perform an installation/upgrade and configuration of the solutions’ components in the framework of the customer’s setup. And finally describe all tools that will enable the engineer to monitor, perform basic troubleshooting on the solution and report relevant information to the EVS technical support teams

  • Introduction to the training program and product presentation. 

          • Neuron platform description and presentation of its different products, 
          • Product specificities and key features, 

  • Hardware description 

          • Description of Neuron’s advanced reliability features, 
          • Description of the back panel and front panel connections, 
          • Description of LED indicators and functions, 
          • Description of the processing boards with optional connections. 

  • Installation and setup 

          • Preparation for installation 
          • Insertion into the racks 
          • Description of the specificities for the electrical connection and network requirements 
          • Software installation: Cerebrum installation and Neuron discovery process 
          • Overview of the graphical user interface  

  • Neuron configuration 

          • Presentation and description of the Neuron Graphical User Interface for configuration of the processing modules
          • Description of Neuron configuration possibilities 

  • Firmware upload and update procedure description. 
  • Description of monitoring and basic troubleshooting possibilities
