On May 1, 2020, EVS announced the acquisition of Axon, a broadcast and media network infrastructure specialist, to help expand its global footprint and offer a more extensive live production technology portfolio for its customers.
Having Axon’s products under its umbrella is especially useful when it comes to live remote operations, as EVS will now be able to provide the most modern and comprehensive offering in terms of Media Infrastructure on the market that includes advanced IP processing, SDI/IP conversion, SDN-based control and monitoring, as well as UHD-4K and IP multiviewer.
