Scope

As DevOps Engineer, you take part in the complete EVS software development and testing processes.

As a member of a System team, you introduce and manage processes and relevant tools to support the development lifecycle. In collaboration with the System team members, you ensure continuous integration, packaging, continuous delivery, continuous deployment, maintenance and updates using next generation technologies.

You strive to improve the speed at which new code is deployed (or deployable) and the frequency and reliability of releases. You work closely with development teams, sharing your knowledge on deployment and integration, as well as with Product Owners and support teams.

Job Description

  • Design, upgrade, optimize, monitor and secure RHEL architectures
  • Design and implement CI / CD pipelines to support our internal development
  • Implement and maintain tools for packaging and deploying complex Linux-based products
  • Create and/or maintain technical documentation
  • Troubleshoot and solve technology problems on development and production environments
  • Provide Linux expertise to the R&D Department
  • Be part of a multidisciplinary Agile team

Profile

  • Engineer, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science (high school or university)
  • At least 3 years of experience in Software Development with a focus on DevOps.

Technical skills:

  • Experience of Linux (kernel, bootloader, installation, etc.)
  • Experience with CI/CD software (TeamCity, Jenkins, etc.)
  • Knowledge in software build chain (CMake, vcpkg, etc.)
  • Knowledge of RHEL ecosystem and RPM packaging (Anaconda, Ansible, Kickstart, etc.)
  • Knowledge of programming languages: Python and Bash
  • Knowledge of Cloud technologies is a plus
