Scope

The Global Account Manager will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships within our selected strategic global accounts. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong ability to understand client needs, drive revenue growth, and ensure the successful delivery of our products and services. You will execute the strategy for growth within the identified strategic accountswith an objective to retain our top clients and nurture those relationships over time. You will focus on building business plans and coordinating with internal stakeholders to grow our solutions footprint and increase the overall business we do within the strategic accounts. It is imperative that you understand client strategy, identifying key decision-makers, and mapping organizational structure. It is critical to have a strong motivation for the client, team, and personal success that prioritizes long term relationships over short term transactions.

Job Description

  • Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned global accounts, building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement account strategies by developing global account plans in order to achieve sales targets and expand business opportunities.
  • Client Engagement: Understand client needs and objectives, to ensure alignment with our solutions and offerings.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, product development, and customer support) to deliver tailored solutions to clients.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor account performance, analyze sales data, and provide regular reports and insights to management.
  • Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations and renewals, ensuring mutually beneficial terms with emphasis on multiyear framework agreements.
  • Propositions: Create organized customer quotes and conceptual workflow drawings to develop, contribute and implement business plans and strategies for assigned accounts.
  • Market Insight: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify new opportunities.
  • Knowledge : Represent EVS with a comprehensive understanding of our products and solutions
  • Consultation: Take a consultant-style approach to customers to help design and build more efficient and reliable workflows. Coordinate customer requirements analysis in order to propose EVS solutions in collaboration with Project Managers, Solution Architects and Market and Solutions teams.
  • Events: Attend trade shows, conventions, and workshops.
  • Reporting: Create regular meeting reports and sales forecast updates with detailed client information, keep the CRM up to date.
  • Ensure that customers are highly satisfied with EVS overall.
  • Transparency: Use the tools and applications to help give team leaders full visibility. Work as a team and not as an individual contributor.
  • Professionalism: Be professional and punctual. Understand the value of time and where to spend it to be most effective.

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in account management, sales, or business development, preferably in a global context.
  • Customer focused
  • Strong understanding of the live television broadcasting industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Excel at communication in person, over the phone, via e-mail and across teams
  • Comfortable addressing C-Suite Executives
  • Leadership and management skills
  • Strong track record in selling complex technical solutions.
  • Motivation for sales and finding new business within Strategic Global Accounts
  • Strong technical aptitude and work ethic.
