Medior UX Architect

Scope

As a medior UX Architect, you are in charge of optimizing the overall user experience with EVS products, services, and global ecosystem. You have to collaborate with variety of stakeholders, product managers and product owners to understand and analyze their business goals and requirements, and integrate them within a user-centric approach. You will have to manage or participate to activities such as user research, ideation workshop, user flow, hi-level wireframing, user testing etc. The UX Architect also looks at consistency between all EVS products for functional and design system aspects. 

Your experience and skills should cover the UX Architect scope rather than the UI Designer one. You should have experience with business analysis methodologies, and you are UX minded. You are part of a transversal UX/UI team interacting with different departments of the company, advocating for a UX-driven approach in an agile environment. 

Job Description

• User Research
  • Conduct research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points through interviews, surveys, usability testing, and data analysis.
  • Conduct stakeholder interview and support product owner for requirements elicitation and framing
  • Analyze user data to inform UX design decisions, work on customer journey and personas.
• Concept exploration and ideation process 
  • Have a problem-solving approach, you conduct or participate to ideation workshops and reframing session.
  • Focus on understanding the needs from stakeholders and experiences from end-users. 
  • Summarize and structure outcomes within a consistent report with recommendations 
• Information Architecture and wireframing
  • Create activity process diagrams and user flows to outline the product’s structure, use tools like Sketch and Figma for high-level wireframing to communicate product vision and values
  • Use design system components for rapid prototyping
  • Structure and organize content in a way that is intuitive and easy for users to navigate
• Usability Testing
  • Conduct tests with real users to gather feedback on the product’s usability and functional understanding. 
  • Analyze test results to identify usability issues and recommend necessary adjustments
• Collaboration
  • Work closely with other teams, including UX/UI designers, developers, product owners, and stakeholders, to ensure that the UX design aligns with business goals and technical constraints.
  • Communicate design ideas effectively through presentations and documentation
• Continuous Improvement
  • Monitors user feedback and analytics post-launch to identify areas for improvement
  • Iteratively refines the product’s UX to enhance user satisfaction and engagement

Profile

• You have a bachelor's or master's degree and at least 3 years of experience in a UX position
• You have a very good knowledge of business analysis principles, UX/UI design certification is a plus 
• You are able to understand business requirements and market drivers, but also to advocate users’ needs
• You feel at ease to interview or question stakeholders as well as end users in their context
• You are able to catch a high-level view across a product line or analyze UX architecture in a business process or a product user flow 
• You collaborate closely with other team members, you are able to adapt your communication prism to multiple stakeholders from various business departments

• Experience in the video and/or broadcast/media industry is a plus
• Experience with wireframing software such as Sketch or Figma is a plus

Languages :

• Fluent in English and in French
• Working knowledge of another language is an asset
