Scope

As a Sales Manager, you will execute the strategy for growth in the defined regional territory. Ideally, you are located in Texas or Denver. You are responsible for the Sales and business planning to meet and exceed your targets and objectives. You will focus on contacting current customer accounts and prospecting to sell EVS solutions to new accounts within a designated geographical territory. You will deal with a full portfolio of products and solutions that cover all Broadcast and Media Opportunities. With an emphasis on technical selling, you will be responsible for working with many existing accounts, Channel Partners, and internal stakeholders. It is important to have a strong motivation for the client, team, and personal success.

Job Description

  • Represent EVS with a comprehensive understanding of our products and solutions
  • Achieve company objectives through effective planning, setting sales goals, analyzing performance data, and forecasting future performance
  • Generate leads, and build client relationships
  • Drive Sales within the Television and Media Space by leveraging customer accounts and channel partners
  • Manage existing customer base in the territory
  • Identify and develop new accounts to grow revenue outside the existing pipeline
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of prospects, including personnel, responsibilities, budgeting, internal politics, products and services, competition, and market trends
  • Expand the current customer base in all market segments as well as new markets in line with EVS strategy
  • Communicate essential product and workflow knowledge to customers to facilitate sales
  • Conduct technical product demonstrations and workflow discussions
  • Take a consultant-style approach to customers to help understand their pain points and needs and propose adequate and unique solutions.
  • Create organized customer quotes and conceptual workflow drawings work to develop, contribute and implement business plans and strategies for assigned regions and accounts
  • Attend trade shows, conventions, and workshops within the territory
  • Consciously use company resources to support a sale concerning operating expenses
  • Create regular meeting reports and sales forecast updates with detailed client information
  • Ensure that sales figures meet the stated objectives defined by Regional Management
  • Work with team members to deliver solutions that meet our customer's needs
  • Be data-driven and provide analytics related to the business in the region to give team leaders full visibility. Constantly keep data up to date in our sales tools 
  • Be professional and punctual. Understand the value of time and where to spend it to be most effective
  • Expect to spend 50-60% of the time out on the field visiting customers, attending trade shows or visiting EVS offices

Profile

  • 5 - 8 years experience of selling into the Broadcast and Media Space

Technical skills : 

  • Customer focused

  • Strong track record in selling complex technical solutions

  • Strong technical aptitude and work ethic

  • Strong computer skills including CRM, Visio, Office 365

Soft Skills : 

  • Autonomous with a high degree of flexibility

  • Ability to think ‘outside of the box’ and be creative

  • Excellent communicator/negotiator with solid presentation skills

Languages :

  • Fluent in English
  • Knowledge of other languages is an asset
