As DevOps Engineer, you take part in the complete EVS software development and testing processes. As a member of a System team, you introduce and manage processes and relevant tools to support the development lifecycle. In collaboration with the System team members, you ensure continuous integration, packaging, continuous delivery, continuous deployment, maintenance and updates using next generation technologies.You strive to improve the speed at which new code is deployed (or deployable) and the frequency and reliability of releases. You work closely with development teams, sharing your knowledge on deployment and integration, as well as with Product Owners and support teams.
EVS video servers are made up of a complex set of applications. The role of the DevOps engineer is to manage the various aspects of the systems, such as security, updates, etc., which are linked to the evolution of these applications in an industrial broadcast context. This also involves maintaining and improving the existing continuous integration system. In addition, you are interested in Linux and task automation.
