Dear EVS Operator,
Welcome to the new issue of Operators' ProNews, with information on all the latest products and updates from EVS.
This month, alongside the usual range of updates to functions and usability, we introduce:
Production Server highlights include the introduction of XHub-VIA 2.0, a new and improved network hub to connect your XT-VIA or XS-VIA servers through the XNet-VIA network. Multiple units can be combined to enable multi-site production, or to connect more than 24 servers on the same site.
We also introduce new versions of the Multicam software – 16.6 and 20.1
XFile3 version 6.0 supports the new VIA platform, and introduces a new offline mode.
VIA Xsquare is now integrated into XFile3, bringing better performance and enhanced features.
The latest software updates to the X-One Unified Production System add new features, including a “Go To Timecode” function.
The X-One Export application now incorporates new filters and export settings, for greater flexibility.
The latest version of IPDirector includes a number of feature updates and improvements, including a new version of the Publish Add-On, and enhancements to ABRoll Playlist and Ingest Scheduler.
There are also improvements to Bin and Clips management in the latest version of IPWeb.
The latest version of VIA Xsquare (4.3) introduces a number of features, including a brand-new UI app, clustering by target, mixed SDR/HDR workflows - using dynamic or static conversion - and new encoding features.
Xeebra has a number of usability enhancements. It now incorporates offset management, to ensure all camera angles are in sync. It’s now also possible to protect events, for as long as you like, so that they’re not overwritten by the loop recording functionality of EVS servers.
